 DALAMAN RIVER
( INDOS ) :
Archaically named INDOS, Dalaman River has its source within
Kocas Mountain located nearby Dirmil.
It runs into the sea some 8 km south of Ortaca after its cource
through a narrow and deep valley where two of its branches one
coming from Göktepe and the other from Yaylacik
Mountains being part of the Western Taurus Mountains merge
together. Its total length is : 229 km. It takes place between
the rivers that gather the biggest amount of tourists as far as
rafting is concerned.

borders amongst KÖYCEGIZ and DALAMAN
is offering you R2 (difficulty rate : 3+) and R3 (difficulty
rate : 3-4+) level course services.
The river increases the adrenaline of the participants to the
rafting activity through its rapid and exciting course track...
Dalaman River welcomes everybody who knows how to swim.. She
offers us two course tracks in its 229 km lenght: R2(
difficulty rate 3+ ) and R3( 4+ ). For beginners, R2 is the
way to go. You will pass through 8 waterfalls along the
splendid structure of the huge rocks that last about 13 km.
The experts are full of jokes; their sense of humor is the
bonus of a fascinating trip on the wild waters.
Between the rapids, slipping on tranquil waters, time slips
away listening to the birds' songs in the stillness of the
atmosphere. At the end of the 3 hours, you will pass below
an ancient bridge which gives its name to the village of
Akkopru. At this moment you may throw yourself to the waters
and let it carry you. If you pay enough attention, you will
see the ancient Greek scripture on it, saying: "How lucky
man I am, to have built this wonderful bridge over this
enchanting river...

We will pick you up from your Hotel. After
breakfast at our rafting base in Beyobası village / Koycegiz
we'll get to the start point through the pine forest
mountain roads. Your guide will give you a technical brief
and off we go. We'll disappear in to the Beautiful Dalaman
river valley. 14 kms of fun on grade 3-4 rapids. Heading
back to the base and there waits you some real food! You can
have the day's memories as photos or a video.
